NEW YORK, NY — Award-Winning director Javor Gardev (“Zift”), has been chosen to direct the Greek mythology epic “Theseus” for Kalliope Films (“Hansel and Gretel in 3D”). Javor is currently serving on the main jury of the 2012 Moscow International Film Festival.
Theseus epic to be produced by Kalliope Films and The Institute’s Scott Gardenhour; Avatar and Spiderman 2 crew on board.
Javor Gardev is attached to direct Kalliope Films’ Theseus, an epic the company is budgeting in the $50m-range. The film will combine the story of the mythical Greek hero Theseus’ battle with the Minotaur and other myths surrounding the hero.

NEW YORK, NY — Kalliope Films has commenced production on “In My Father’s Footsteps” a faith-based documentary film about WWE wrestling superstar Ted DiBiase Jr. The movie portrays Ted’s experiences as a Christian, following in the footsteps of his ‘heavenly father’ Jesus Christ. The documentary also shares what it is like for Ted Jr. to be the ‘legacy’ of his father, WWE Hall of Famer and Christian minister “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase. Lastly, the movie highlights the milestone of Ted Jr. becoming a father for the first time. Ted DiBiase Jr. doesn’t just portray a good guy wrestler for the WWE, he is an actual good person who gave the family of a sick kid a big boost when he stopped by for a visit and even led them in prayer.
DiBiase Jr. was at the Batson Children’s Hospital in Mississippi filming a documentary about his faith and his charity for sick and underprivileged children.
